At PPInc we are completely sold on the emerging technology of electronic reading! I (Pat Johnston, Perspectives Press’ publisher) loved my original Kinde so much, that, when the Kindle2 was announced only a few months after my purchase, I pre-ordered one on the day it was announced!)

But Kindle is not the only ebook format. There are LRF (for Sony E-readers), EPub (open industry format), Palm doc, PDF, RTF, Text, Javascript, HTML and more.

So we’ve teamed up with Smashwords.com to have PPInc’s books converted to as many ebook formats as possible, because ebooks can be (and should be) cheaper than print books and can be stored in far less space than printed books. This makes them greener, too!

Imagine an infertility or adoption professional’s library of 1000 or more books (min is larger than that) stored in a device smaller and lighter than most paperback books! Think about the future ramifications for students! Ereading is nothing like reading on a computer screen, but very much like reading a traditional book.

PPInc, however, doesn’t have the technology to sell you ebooks ourselves, so we have created this page to link you to our ebooks on Amazon and on Smashwords.com. Before the end of 2009 every single one of our in-print adult books will be e-book available. And when the technology improves for color, our children’s books will go up, too!
