Perspectives Press was founded in 1982 by Patricia Irwin Johnston, a member of a family expanded through two-generations by adopting after infertility (her husband, his siblings and cousins were adopted; her children were adopted). Since then, we’ve been providing everything that’s anything related to

• reproductive health education
• adoption information and education
• choices for treating impaired fertility
• the emotional impact of infertility
• lifestyle alternatives and family building avenues beyond infertility:
  • child-free living
  • adoption
  • collaborative reproduction (donor insemination, surrogacy, donor ova, donor embryo, gestational carrier)
